When should I arrive for the ceremony?
The wedding ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm. Please arrive no later than 4:00 in order to give yourself enough to find a seat and mingle! We encourage guests who want to explore the scenery of the hotel to arrive earlier and have a look around the property.
The Lafayette Hotel is located in the North Park neighborhood of San Diego. Parking near the Venue is extremely limited. Valet will also be limited to help accommodate both Hotel guests and patrons of other restaurants/bars on the property.
We recommend taking an Uber/Lyft, especially if you plan to partake in the night’s festivities!
What is the dress code for the wedding?
Formal attire. Hemlines should be mid to floor length, no jeans, and (of course) no white. The Bride and Groom encourage you to take the opportunity to dress up and embrace your personal style or use the unique decor of the LaFayette as inspiration!
The average temperature in October in San Diego is 75 degrees with a low of 61 at night. Both Ceremony and Reception will be taking place indoors! Please plan accordingly.
Are children welcome?
While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night with your partner!
What is the deadline to RSVP?
Please RSVP no later than August 16th, 2025 by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above. If you do not RSVP in time, we will miss you but will need to assume that you are unable to attend!
Can I bring a date?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free food options?
Please indicate any dietary restrictions and allergies when you RSVP. We will work with our venue and the restaurant of the Welcome Party to accommodate everyone.
